Yes, Zedd Payroll is 100% compliant with KRA PAYE tax regulations, including the Affordable Housing Levy (1.5% from employee & 1.5% from employer) and the new Social Health Insurance Fund (SHIF) guidelines.

Admins configure the allowed coordinate radius (e.g. 150m) for each branch. When employees clock in or out via the Employee Self-Service (ESS) mobile browser, the browser requests coordinates. If they clock in outside the radius, it is successfully logged to prevent clock issues but is flagged red as "Outside Geofence" with exact distance metrics on the admin side.

Yes, if you exceed your package limit, you can buy extra prepaid employee slots inside your account dashboard. You can scale your billing up or down depending on your current active staff headcount, making it ideal for seasonal staff.

To avoid payment errors, all calculated overtime hours (based on shifts) default to "pending". Administrators or company accountants can review overtime hours directly from the attendance logs and approve or reject them. Only approved overtime hours will be factored into the payroll run.
